Bonamana (Korean title: 미인아; literal meaning Beauty) is the fourth studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on May 13, 2010 in South Korea. Over 200,000 copies were pre-ordered a week after the release date was announced, setting a new high record for the group. According to South Korea's Hanteo chart, it debuted at #1 on the charts, selling over 36,000 copies on the first day of release. After eight more days of release, over 100,000 copies were sold.
"Bonamana" was confirmed to be the title single of the album on May 6, 2010. The music video teaser, unveiled on May 7, revealed an extremely brief and blurred preview of the song's chorus. "Bonamana" was released for digital download on May 10. Naming the genre as "SJ Funky" (Super Junior Funky), "Bonamana" consists of "African rhythms, with catchy grooves and club house beats." The song is widely defined to be in a electropop funk style, and a majority of the song is concentrated on autotuned vocals.
